Vu Cao was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1983 before moving to the United States as a young child. He recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and currently resides in Austin. Vu Cao is self-taught artist and has been a student of his craft since his childhood. Vu has studied a full spectrum of art throughout his life, ranging from acrylics and oils to web design and digital media. Vu Cao has won juried shows and been featured in art galleries and museums. Vu Cao paints with composition and balance as his highest priorities. He loves his craft and paints from his heart and that's almost all many need to know to understand his artwork.
